The Indian chief, Massasoit, promises to be friendly. The story ends with the joyous Thanksgiving celebration. Alice Dalgliesh's texts are detailed and enjoyable. The Thanksgiving Story is a good book for children in kindergarten, first grade, second grade and third grade.
